Colva Beach 2019 Garbage Removal
Kafmar Environmental Services in association with Chowgule College of Arts and Science, Margao, Led by Adv. Afroz Shah organised a “Beach Cleanliness Drive” at Colva Beach, Goa on 28th May 2019. Mr. Prathamesh Maulingkar, a renowned Goan Footballer and First Asian to win the title “Mister Supranational 2018”, also joined the drive. Around 200 students,locals and even tourists joining in. “Considering this was our first event, there was a lot of excitement and a lot of people showed up. While the response was great, what matters is whether this kind of excitement will continue in the future. When foreigners on the beach saw us, they wished to join and we let them. So many locals joined in as well. I hope the impact we’ve created continues through other drives,” added Prathamesh. Mr Caesar Fernandes and his team at Kafmar made it all possible.
